Country Guide
Study in the UK from Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has a long-established pipeline of students to UK universities, particularly in Business, Healthcare and IT. Many Sri Lankan students transfer onto UK programmes after completing local A-Level, Edexcel or HND qualifications, making AEN’s top-up degree partnerships especially relevant.
Fee Status
Sri Lankan students pay international fees. The Chevening Scholarship runs an active Sri Lanka programme, and several AEN partners offer merit-based scholarships of 10–30% off tuition.
Visa Requirements
Sri Lankan students apply for the UK Student Route visa. Credibility interviews are common, and TB testing is required. Financial evidence is straightforward when using a Sri Lankan commercial bank — AEN guides you through the correct UKVI-compliant format.
