Country Guide
Study in the UK from Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia is one of the largest scholarship-funded student markets in the world. The King Abdullah Scholarship Programme (KASP) and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques scholarships fund thousands of Saudi students annually in UK universities, with a strong focus on STEM, Medicine, Business and Education.
Fee Status
Saudi students pay international fees. The vast majority are fully funded by KASP, Custodian scholarships, or sponsorship from Saudi universities and ministries. AEN secures CAS letters compliant with sponsor requirements and liaises with the Saudi Cultural Bureau in London where needed.
Visa Requirements
Saudi students require a UK Student Route visa. Sponsor letters from KASP or Saudi government bodies typically replace personal financial evidence. ATAS clearance may be required for sensitive STEM subjects. TB testing is not required for short visits but may be requested for longer stays.
