Study in the UK from Oman
Oman is a well-funded MENA source country with a long-established pipeline of students to UK universities, particularly for Engineering, Medicine, Business and Aviation. The Ministry of Higher Education and Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre scholarships fund significant numbers of UK placements.
Fee Status
Omani students pay international fees. The Ministry of Higher Education, government bodies (PDO, Royal Oman Police, Omani Air Force) and the Sultan Qaboos Higher Centre Scholarship fund a large share of UK placements.
Visa Requirements
Omani students require a UK Student Route visa. TB testing is not required. ATAS clearance may be required for sensitive STEM subjects.
